Subject: My very first Incident! Finally available online!
First of all, thank you so much for finally posting this show online! I have been waiting for a good recording of this show since, well, March 4, 1998. I have been checking back here on archive.org ever since I discovered this site in 2006, but nobody ever put this one up. The wait is finally over, and it was worth the wait!

This was my very first String Cheese Incident show, and still one of my favorites. I drove up from Phoenix for it. After the show was over, I took a poster of the band from the Prochnow Auditorium box office and had all five of the guys autograph it. This poster is currently framed and hanging on the wall of the room I'm sitting in tonight...

The recording sounds amazing! The setlist features a nice cross-section of some of their earlier classics. Highlights include Mouna Bowa, Smile, 100 Year Flood, Come As You Are and Southbound, and they're all played so tight and with so much energy. I wish someone had also put up a recording of the set break with Keller Williams playing, and then Travis joining him on drums before the 2nd set started. (At the time, I had no idea who Keller Williams was, but I liked him!)

This show will be on my Ipod by tomorrow morning and probably won't leave it for months! I guess it's fitting that just last week, I bought my ticket to see my 19th Incident, right back where it started for me in Flagstaff. Can't wait for July 12! I was starting to lose hope that I'd ever see these guys again after 2007, or that anyone would ever post this show. So thank you again for making my day!
